How to do it:
1. Don’t get wet. Your skin and the brush should be dry, so the ideal time is in the shower before you turn on the water.
2. Start brushing at your feet and work your way up your legs one at a time. Then move up to your mid-section and across your chest. Brush in long smooth strokes over your butt and thighs. Then move up across your chest. Always brush toward the heart area where the lymph system drains. Finish by brushing your arms up toward your armpits. On your stomach, you should direct the brush counterclockwise.
3. Don’t brush too hard: Your skin should be stimulated but not irritated or even become red. Do this routine a few times per week and it will help to break down the fatty deposits that cause the dimpled appearance.
Which brush do you need?
Always use a plant bristle body brush, from coconut husks or from the agave plant (called sisal). It provides the best exfoliation and stimulation for your skin. They are the highest quality, long lasting, and they don’t scratch the skin.
