The Weirdest Way to get Snow-white Teeth!

As crazy as it sounds, this terrible looking substance can actually whiten your teeth. It doesn’t make much sense at first, but it really works!

Activated charcoal is a highly absorbent substance and removes toxins when they adhere to the surface of the charcoal. It is not absorbed by the body, but when it passes through the GI system, chemicals and toxins adhere to it, and are expelled by the digestive system. Its natural adhesive qualities let it also bind with teeth stainers like coffee, tea, wine, and plaque, and take them off your teeth when you spit it out.

Activated charcoal is available at pharmacies (without a prescription) as a loose powder or in capsule form.

So, how can this product help whiten our teeth?

Well, your mouth will look terrifying at first, but don’t worry. The activated charcoal will produce the same effect in your mouth as it does in your digestive system. It will remove toxins and stains. All of the black washes away and it makes your teeth feel extremely clean and smooth. After a few uses, your teeth will be noticeably whiter.

What you need:

1 old toothbrush (or one you don’t mind getting black)

1 capsule of Activated Charcoal

A cup

What to do:

1.   Carefully open the activated charcoal capsule. Make a paste by mixing equal parts of water and charcoal together in a cup (½ tablespoon of each).

2.   Wet your toothbrush and dip it into the powdered charcoal. Do this over the sink to keep it from getting all over the counter or your clothes. You can add a bit of toothpaste to the brush if you want.

3.   Brush gently, and move in small circles for two minutes. If you have deep stains in your teeth, you can leave the charcoal in your mouth for up to five minutes.

4.   Spit carefully, and rinse well. Your sink will get pretty dirty, but your mouth and teeth will feel super clean.
You can do that treatment once a day, but not more than four days a week. After a few uses, your teeth will be noticeably whiter.
