DIY Antioxidant Chocolate Mask


It’s no secret: We LOVE chocolate!
It is good for our soul, mood and SKIN!
Cacao provides strong benefits that fight free radicals that cause premature aging. Try our chocolate face masks and keep your skin looking fresh, renewed and healthy!


Benefits of Cacao

–   It is full of vitamins and antioxidants which are important for cell repair and cell damage prevention.

–   Cacao is hydrating and contains minerals that promote cell growth.

–   Cacao contains caffeine, a de-puffing ingredient often added to skincare products.


Anti-Aging Chocolate Mask

What you need:

–   50 grams of chocolate (organic and with 70-90% cocoa content)

–   1 tbsp coconut oil (or olive oil)

–   1 egg yolk


How to your do it:

1.   Take the chocolate and warm it up on the water bath till it becomes liquid.

2.   Then mix the liquid chocolate with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 1 egg’s yolk (you can skip the yolk if you don’t like the smell of it).

3.   Mix it all up very well and spread the mask all over your face and neck. Make sure that the temperature of your chocolate mask is not too warm.

4.   Keep it on for about 15 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.


Antioxidant Cocoa Mask

What you need:

–   1/4 cup cocoa powder (choose a raw and organic cacao powder)

–   1 tablespoon honey

–   1 tablespoon plain yogurt


How to your do it:

1.   Put the cacao powder into a bowl and mix it with yogurt.

2.   Add the honey and blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

3.   Apply the paste evenly to your face. Relay for 10-20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.
